I feel a bit embarrassed with my lack of creativity in titles (lol), but I plan to keep posting the summer holiday series! This is #2, and a 3-year-old boy and his mother came to visit. Traveling by train with a small child must have been quite a challenge!
A few days after school summer vacation began, our first guest arrived. They were a mother and her 7-year-old foster daughter.
Summer vacation has started for Japanese students! It usually starts around July 20th but this year, it has begun a bit earlier due to the 3-day holiday on the calendar.
We will have MANY guests staying with us this summer. We're really excited to see what kind of encounters are waiting for us! 😍
This time, friends from university brought their children along.

This time, a mother and her 12-year-old son came from Taiwan for a week. Apparently, it's a graduation gift for her son, who loves Japan. We also got to experience something new this time. Every time we have guests, they bring new challenges, and we're excited about it!
Our recent guests were a lively mother and her energetic siblings. They stayed with us for 10 nights, which is considered a long stay in our house. Although they usually live in India, they chose our home as one of their temporary places during their homecoming trip.

Golden Week is in full swing, and our neighboring farmers are busy with rice planting. Large rice planting machines are rolling out from garages, and trays of rice seedlings are lined up along the paths of each rice field. Everyone seems to be quite busy.
The guests this time were a duo of first-year working adults. One was from Kansai and the other from Kanto. Their energy was completely different from that of the children!
This time, a high school boy from Singapore studying in Japan came to visit!
Compared to other guests, receiving a guest for one week is relatively long for us. Until he arrived, we were imagining various scenarios, wondering, "What kind of teenager will he be? What does he like to do?
