Spring Break Rush Started!!

23/03/2025

The other day, I posted the blog about the first homestay guest of 2025, and from now until April, guests will be coming one after another. We're very grateful for it! 🙏🥰

This time, our guests stayed for two nights and three days. It was a mother and her 8-year-old daughter. The little girl was full of curiosity and energy. They jumped on a train right after the daughter's school finished and came all the way to Tamba Sasayama.

On the day of their arrival, it was already a late afternoon, so we just went home and relaxed.

The next day... Do all elementary school kids love dinosaurs? We went to Namikimichi Central Park and the Tamba Dinosaur Park at nearby town. At Tamba Dinosaur Park, while we were taking photos with the face board, a man spoke to us and showed us a secret photo spot. If you go to that place, you can take a photo with a giant dinosaur monument in the palm of your hand! A new discovery! Thank you so much!!

At Namikimichi Central Park, the plum blossoms that weren't there two weeks ago were now in full bloom, filling the air with a wonderful fragrance 💖. This is the beauty of nature, isn't it? It shows a different face each time we visit.

However, perhaps due to the holiday, there were more families than ever before (although it's still very quiet compared to the city), and there were small children on the playground equipment, making it difficult to play for big kids. 😭
So, feeling a bit hungry, we headed to the classic spot, the Kuromame-no-Yakata buffet. It was relatively quiet, so we were able to enjoy our meal quietly and feeling relaxed. ^^

After returning home, we played games, harvested broccolis from our garden, and the guests could spend some time with my son and his girlfriend too.

Before we knew it, the two-night, three-day homestay had come to an end. I look forward to seeing you all again. Thank you for coming!
